Joe Genta
For more than 35 years, Joe Genta has served the clothing needs of Florida’s Gulf Coast communities. From the boardroom to the clubhouse, clients have come to know Joe for his passion, expertise, and dedication to helping them build and maintain wardrobes that are both successful and manageable.
Recognized as one of the industry’s leading clothiers, Joe continues to expand his knowledge of the marketplace through personal relationships with international vendors and regular visits to New York, Rome, Milan, Paris, and Barcelona. His passion for travel allows him to stay connected to the latest trends, finest fabrics, and highest standards of craftsmanship from around the world.
Joe founded Gulfshore Clothier with a simple mission: to provide clients with confidence, convenience, and exceptional service. His philosophy, “Complete satisfaction is our minimum standard,” is far more than a slogan—it is the foundation of a career that has included the delivery of more than 25,000 custom garments.
While custom clothing remains a cornerstone of the business, it is only one aspect of Joe’s comprehensive approach to personal style. Ready-to-wear clothing and accessories account for more than half of Gulfshore Clothier’s annual sales. As Joe often says, “I like putting it all together, because what men really want is mental and physical convenience. Every person and their needs are different. Helping create and accentuate a custom lifestyle for every style of life is an everyday goal.”
Throughout his career, Joe has earned numerous industry awards and has helped clients throughout Florida’s Gulf Coast gain the confidence and guidance needed to prepare themselves—and their wardrobes—for every occasion, from business and social events to weekends and travel.
In 2019, Joe’s son, Joey Genta, joined the business full-time, working side by side with Joe to continue the tradition of personalized service and exceptional craftsmanship. Together, they are always available and ready to provide extraordinary service.
A graduate of Naples High School and an Honors Graduate of the University of Florida’s School of Business, Joe and his wife, Laura, have raised three sons. Joey and his wife, Stephanie, have one daughter, Mila.
